What becomes of the broken hearted...?

Something I started a while ago in one of my old sketchbooks. I really did like the original drawing so much that I just cleaned up the sketch in the shelter while waiting for Dennis to pass. I was actually really happy when I drew this so I don't know why it came out all depressing. .___.

Excellent details everywhere on this creature,from the wings to the mane. ou can really see the frustration on it's face...you've really drawn an interesting scene. My take on it is that this is a female,trying to lay eggs,but one way or another,they accidentally hatch and die. (or maybe I'm just morbid ^^; )

I've really got a soft spot for dragons of late, so this all but broke my heart when I saw it! Poor she-dragon... That's true, though. When you fall you can't stay on the floor - you gotta get up. Though sometimes you've fallen to hard to rise without a hand. The dragon looks tattered both emotionally and physically (her wings appear shredded on the edges). I really like how you draw dragons, though. She seems almost horse-like, and she's lovely; especially as far as dragons go.
