JOIN THE QUEST FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT!!!

A little something I quickly threw together for your enjoyment. Wow...it's amazing how much one's art changes within the past 6 years!

1999-2000~ I believe this is the FIRST drawing of Tigsie I ever did on paper. Back then I went by the name Tigergirl Soldier. Note that I was heavily into Sailor Moon at the time, and my anatomy was crap!

Early 2001~ Green Haired Tigsie...she was VERY short lived. I was a bit obsessed back then with wanting to dye my hair a crazy color. Something which I still haven't done yet, but I've lost interest in it. I modeled her hairstyle off Mihoshi from Tenchi Muyo.

Mid 2001~ I started experimenting with inking and photoshop...I am amazed by the fact they they turned out as well as they did because I had no concept of "LAYERS" back in the day. So much time I could have saved...At first I had a marking on my head, but by the end of the year I got obsessed with shiny things. That's how the marking became the famous tri jewel. Note that I also introduced white into Tigsie's color sceme.

Early/Mid 2002~ Yay! Photoshop Layers! My life as a colorist became a million times more simple! I think EVERYONE has gotten into the big ears phase, but I'm happy I got over that later on. (Did I even realize I was drawing them as big as her head...?!)

Late 2002~ I got obsessed with Anime/Manga style...worst mistake in my life ever. ALWAYS focus on gestures and not the style. Something which I had yet to realize until I went to art college.

Late 2003/2004~ Tried to make Tigsie's markings more like that of an actual Tiger by adding more white. This time I put whites around her eyes. Her stripes are also very vein-like around this time period.

Early 2005~ A re-introduction to the old school purple outfit, which got majorly revamped!

2005~ Yet another revamp to Tigsie! This time I went all out with making her markings look like a tiger as possible. Especially around the face area. Started to tone down the stripes so they are easier to draw.

2006~ Split Tigsie into 2 different styles. One for animation and the other for illustration! Changes are still up to question!!!

LATE 2006~ NOT DRAWN YET! Tigsie gets transformed into the "strawberry tiger" instead of the "fire tiger"! Pictures coming soon!
